The 23rd Psalm is one of my most favorite chapters in the Bible.  The classic words are music to a soul in need of rest from strife, grief, pain, and worry.  Healing requires rest and peace.  I often read 23rd Psalm to lift my spirit and give me inspiration.

Psalms 23

23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not

 want.

23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me

 beside the still waters.

23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of

 righteousness for his name's sake.

23:4 Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shades of

death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and

 thy staff they comfort me.

23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my

enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of

my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever
